There was a mass of canines tethered to a fence just inside the 79th St. entrance to Central Park this morning. They’re clumped a bit in the photo, and it’s hard to see that they were somewhat divided by breed – or at least the Golden Retrievers were segregated. The walkers were affixing brand new blue scarves around the dogs’ necks. Was this so the dogs could be easily identified as under their watch?
Much later in the run, the Lake shimmered in the early morning sun, not fully frozen but with patches of ice…
Linda,
You have more than just 3 fans! I have followed you and Chris for quite some time. You both have given me inspiration and companionship on my own journey in the world of brain cancer. My husband was diagnosed in Jan. ’07, glioblastoma, and continues to receive stable MRIs. It can be a lonely path being a caregiver and reading your posts gave me hope. I am very sorry for your loss.
Best wishes to you for a great 2011!
Laura
