mustard at BaylandsThere’s nothing more pleasant for a Midwesterner still trying to shed the depths of winter than a spring time walk under clear blue skies in the Bay Area. The Dawn Jogger’s friend Alice from Kansas City is in town for a conference and they set out this morning for the five-mile Baylands loop. (Alice, too, could remember when Baylands was a dump; the new “landfill” is adjacent.) The wildflowers – both yellow daisy like blooms and mustard – were in full bloom.
