The Dawn Jogger woke up this morning back in the Bay Area. The fog had come in overnight, covering the Peninsula. That made for a chillier morning than she had experienced in New York City.

Of course, she was also a bit on NYC time, which meant she woke up around 5:00 am. Luckily it’s light early, so about a half hour later she got up, dressed and jogged across the golf course to Lake Lagunita, which had receded a lot over the past week even though water was flowing into it from upper reservoirs on Stanford land. That was lucky for the latest crop of ducklings…
