Out in the wilds of sunny winter time

It had been some time since the Dawn Jogger had been out to Arastradero Preserve but she made the return today on a winter morning that was chilly in the hollows and warm at ridge top. Jogging this open space has long made her feel good and she left iPod behind in the hopes of hearing some wild turkeys or other inhabitants. But all was eerily quiet about an hour after dawn. Maybe it was her fellow walkers, joggers and cyclists that were keeping the critters at bay – they were numerous. Who would want to be inside on a winter morning like this…
