About an hour after the Dawn Jogger returned home from an extended Dish run, the skies again opened up and the rain poured down. So there was a reason she had the area practically to herself this morning – others had read the weather report. But anyone there before 9 AM was treated to gorgeous nuanced light caused by the low cloud ceiling, a glimpse of the snow on Mt. Hamilton, and the snowy egret on guard in its usual place. The eye/brain could see more than her trusty Lumix – there were textures and layers everywhere she looked. A really great outing with extra distance to feel virtuous about…
