The Dawn Jogger had a good excuse not to don rain gear and head out on what would have been a very wet and very chilly AM jog. She was driving north to San Francisco where she was meeting Grace and her Dad for a morning at the Academy of Sciences, last visited by Grace on her 1st birthday, so a de facto all new experience. The top billing went to the penguins (wave! the male DJ would be proud!) but the albino alligator and butterflies that fluttered by her head were also hits. Snakes, frogs and lizards all fine, too, but keeping to her own set of rules, “No bugs.” Given the rainy day, they were far from the only family in attendance…
