It was clear today was a holiday for most people. Just before sunrise the Dawn Jogger had the Dish almost to herself. By jogging at the same time most mornings, she sees the same people. Most had slept in apparently today.
It was chilly – enough so that she tried out her new quilted running jacket, which felt good especially in the hollows. The bare trees were, as usual, were pretty silhouetted against the sunrise. And in the continuing “there’s always one” tradition, one young steer was curious enough about the DJ that he started walking towards her for a closer look. How close he would have come, she’ll never know…
