Today is being billed as the calm between the storm fronts, so it was ‘must do’ outing for the Dawn Jogger. The challenge was where. She would have loved to hit the trails for a long Sunday stroll, but after the almost non-stop rain of the past 48 hours, she knew they would all be a muddy and slippery mess. So instead she took off across the Stanford campus for 5 1/2 mile loop that took her from its most northern to southern edges. One of the first sights was the water in Lake Lagunita, which has been bone dry all winter except for a little puddle in December. Bird and bikers were both happy…
