Wow – glorious spring morning in the Park

Bethesda Terrace in Central Park

The Dawn Jogger can’t remember when she was last in New York City in the spring but she’s thinking it was a long, long time ago. When she was here last winter, she thought Central Park couldn’t be prettier but it is in the spring. The trees are all sporting new leaves and there are flowers and blossoms everywhere.

Her route this morning took her up to the Reservoir and around and then back by the lake at 72nd St. Never has she seen the Park so packed with people on a weekday morning. Tours, strollers, exercisers, musicians (a keen eye will spot the sax player at Bethesda Terrace in the photo), the park is just teeming with visitors. Maybe that she ran rather late in the morning helped…
