Back in the 90s when the Dawn Jogger came to New York frequently on business, a favorite treat was staying the weekend and listening to Rhythm Review on WBGO on Saturday morning. The show is still on from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and it’s still a treat – great mix of R&B and soul spanning decades.

She completed her morning run in the Park in time to listen to the show and found a different kind of music in the outdoors – a violinist playing Mozart at one end the Mall in front of a bank of tulips. And not surprisingly there were even more people taking advantage of the sunshine than yesterday…
