Any time it gets in the high 80s on the Peninsula, it’s a good excuse to head to the coast, so that was today’s “field trip” for the Dawn Jogger and her friend. It was cool enough early, that a light jacket was required but the sun warmed thing up as the morning wore on, all the best to show off the plethora of flowers at their spring best. The walk was long – 8 miles – but not strenuous due to the flat terrain. Her tour guide status meant artichoke/green chile soup at Duarte’s Taven for lunch…
