The Dawn Jogger finds it amazing to watch the building of what will be a new performing arts center at Stanford, set to open a year from now. She calls it a space ship as the early scaffolding looked just like something that had landed from outer space. It’s now gotten a layer of cement on its sides. The land that it sits on next to Frost Amphitheater was once occupied by the Men’s Gymnasium, damaged beyond repair in the 1906 earthquake.
